Former Intel engineer, life long serial entrepreneur, and musician at heart. Recipient of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of The Year Award in 2002.
Damian began his career in technology working at Intel Corporation on the technical development and successful launch of the Pentium II (Klamath), III (Katmai) and IV (Willamette), while also being exposed to Intel’s implementation of SAP R/3. Having this experience under his belt, Damian founded DFX5, an enterprise software development company and cloud solutions enabler..
Francisco Fernandez
Manager, Business operations
As the Operations Manager, Francisco oversees and manages daily business operations, projects, and the partnership alliance between DFX5 and Amazon Web Services.
Driven by results and focused on customer success, Francisco works tirelessly to earn the trust of all customers by recognizing their business needs and rapidly mobilizing and managing resources to deliver solutions.
Daniel Konopcik
Director of Business development
Daniel holds a degree in Technology (EU). With over 10 years of experience in the Hospitality industry, he has been able to overcome the challenges many companies face and increase sales.
Skilled in business development, product implementation, and revenue growth. Daniel has expanded companies overseas between Europe and the U.S. Dedicated to training and staffing, he’s aided companies on maintaining a positive consumer rating.
Matus Pohancenik
Director of Customer engagement
Matus holds a master’s degree in software engineering and is a certified AWS Solutions Architect. With over 5 years of experience at building technical solutions using a variety of data types, with sources located throughout the world. His contributions for client communications are used by companies in America and Europe.
Matus pays much attention to detail when designing client solutions, including innovative contact centers based on Amazon Connect, which use voice, text, email, and social media to reach customers.
Lukas Hamacek
Director of Cloud governance
Lukas is a certified AWS solutions architect and holds a master’s degree in software engineering. He obtained one of the highest grade scores out of all global candidates for his cloud expertise examination. His dominance of subjects like cloud governance, code programming, solutions design, and technology consulting are unrivaled.
Lukas has been providing novel solutions for the most complex IT problems of financial firms in Europe, North America, and the Caribbean. He was the orchestrator of an agile team who delivered an innovative credit card solution, in record time, that continues to be implemented today. Previously he supported the government of Slovakia/Czech Republic with multiple digital initiatives.
A teacher by heart, Lukas trains teams to do more with less. His professional talk titled “Controlling Data Migration Risks” uses best practices to guide clients make the right tech decisions.
