Your Role:

AWS Serverless Java Developer

This role is intended to cover AWS Serverless Development, which consists of following AWS Services: AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, Amazon Cognito, Code* services, Kinesis, S3, SQS, SES, SNS, Athena, Lex.

As we are focusing on (but not limited to) delivering contact center solutions powered by Amazon Connect, you will be mainly working on solutions enhancing the platform using AWS Serverless framework.

During your journey you will be able to go through overall AWS service portfolio. We are open to tailor candidate’s learning path based on his preferences.

In your new role you will be developing the edge technology solutions using AWS SAM (Serverless Application Model)

Majority of projects deliver solutions for big enterprises – systems or theirs parts are implemented in AWS and represent fully isolated solutions or extension of existing on-prem systems.

Potential candidate is expected to be a team player as we’re seeking to grow our global team of programmers, which tightly cooperate and help each other to grow professionally. This role will also require knowledge of Git for version control, as well as Jira for task management to keep everybody updated. 

Our team consists of multiple nationalities, so we’ll require you to be able to speak English, candidates also speaking Spanish will be highly appreciated.

What do we expect?

  • Experience in programming (primary Java, any other programming language is advantage) and excellent algorithmic thinking
  • Knowledge of popular Java IDE & Frameworks (e.g. Spring, Hibernate, etc.)
  • Experience with version control systems, mainly Git 
  • General knowledge of agile software development methodology/SCRUM 
  • Written and spoken English at minimum level of B1 / Spanish will be a great advantage 
  • Ability to work in the team as well as be able to take initiative and work by yourself 
  • Task ownership 
  • Motivation to learn new things
  • Experience with serveless development and any of AWS certifications is a great advantage
