Your Role:

Amazon Connect Specialist / AWS Serverless Developer 

The biggest focus for this role will be to build contact centers on top of Amazon Connect(contact center platform initially built just for Amazon needs, which then grew into the service on AWS). 

This will also require you to have serverless development skills as Amazon Connect can integrate with multiple serverless services. And as we’re always utilizing a full potential of its presence in AWS, our solutions usually are integrated with many of them. For example, we can mention AWS Lambda, Dynamo DB, S3, Amazon Lex, Kinesis, SQS, SES, SNS, Athena, QuickSight. 

You will be able to choose the programing language based on your preference as AWS Lambda supports many of them through use of runtimes, we’ll prefer Python, Java or JavaScript. 

Potential candidate is expected to be a team player as we’re seeking to grow our global team of Amazon Connect experts, which tightly cooperate and help each other to grow professionally. This role will also require knowledge of Git for version control, as well as Jira for task management to keep everybody updated. 

Our team consists of multiple nationalities, so we’ll require you to be able to speak English, candidates also speaking Spanish will be highly appreciated.

What do we expect?

  • Experience in programing (Python, Java, JavaScript) and excellent algorithmic thinking 
  • Knowledge of IDE as Pycharm/ InteliJ/ VS Code 
  • Experience with version control systems, mainly Git 
  • General knowledge of agile software development methodology/SCRUM 
  • Written and spoken English at minimum level of B1 / Spanish will be a great advantage 
  • Ability to work in the team as well as be able to take initiative and work by yourself 
  • Task ownership 
  • Motivation to learn new things
  • Experience with serveless development or building contact centers will be a great advantage
